With its mixture of waifus and Warframe-like movement that garnered praise from Stephen when he previewed it earlier this year, it shouldn’t surprise you to learn that we’re keeping a close eye on Duet Night Abyss. But we won’t need to wait long until release, and the general public giving their input, because Duet Night Abyss’ final closed beta test is now live.
Running until roughly June 2nd, the final Duet Night Abyss closed beta will grant you the choice between male or female protagonists. Meanwhile, you’ll also get to experience the new storyline, Children From the Snowfield, from both of those perspectives.
Naturally, a roster of new characters is being added in this CBT, offering different abilities and specialities to give a greater insight into what we can expect on release. Oh, and if you thought that the already flashy visuals weren’t enough, then this version is set to really give your phone a workout with some further overhauls and optimisations!

I’ll admit, much like Stephen, I found Duet Night Abyss initially passing me by. However, finding out more about it and seeing the flashy, fast-paced combat in action has definitely given me pause.
To secure a test slot and get the chance to try out Duet Night Abyss for yourself, you’ll need to complete the official questionnaire. However, developer Pan Studios is also set to host a suite of online competitions via social media to give players the chance to grab a slot for themselves.
