Epic has hinted that one of its upcoming giveaways will include a title from the beloved sci-fi franchise. But which game will it be?
Last night on X, the Epic Games Store hinted that it will offer a Star Wars game for free through its giveaway program. Although they didn’t spell it out, the phrase “May the FREE GAME be with you” makes the franchise clear.
With May 4th (Star Wars Day) just around the corner, the timing couldn’t be better. We don’t yet know when the giveaway will go live or which title will be featured, but that hasn’t stopped fans from cooking up all sorts of wild theories.
May Star Wars Outlaws be given away for free?
In response to the teaser, fans are racing to guess what Epic has planned. Many point to Star Wars Outlaws, Ubisoft’s open-world adventure, which underperformed at launch.
Some suggest that giving it away could boost sales and draw attention to its recently released DLC. Still, since it’s such a recent release, giving it away seems unlikely.
