Sony decided it’s time for a thorough spring cleaning of its catalog.
Following today’s arrival of 14 new PS Plus games, here’s a less cheerful piece of news for all subscribers: Over 20 titles are set to leave the PlayStation Plus Extra and Premium catalog in May. The list includes several entries in the Final Fantasy series.

This time around, we’ll have to wave goodbye to quite many titles, though there’s still around a month or so to play them, as they’re likely to depart around May 21. Without further ado, here’s what’s leaving PS Plus Extra and Premium in May 2024:
All in all, it’s certainly a big blow to gamers who wanted to catch up on selected games in the Final Fantasy franchise, as seven of them are on their way out of the library. We’ll also have to do without ELEX, an RPG from the creators of the Gothic series, and many other interesting titles.
