Follow The Meaning is a mysterious point-and-click adventure about patients leaving a hospital sans memories, coming soon

  • Unravel the mystery of the island town’s hospital
  • Lovely hand-drawn visuals
  • Evocative soundtrack filled with whimsy

I’ve always been a firm believer that you can never have too many point-and-click adventures on mobile, and now, we’re about to get our hands on yet another entry into this fabulous genre in the form of Second Maze’s Follow The Meaning.

With its intriguing premise made more mysterious by the evocative hand-drawn visuals, I don’t doubt it’s going to appeal to anyone who’s got a creatively curious side. You’ll essentially follow detective Paul Trilby’s tale as he investigates an odd little island town where the Hospital makes the rules.

While it might seem like a regular healthcare facility at first glance, the patients that get admitted inside aren’t the same when they come out – they, in fact, return without their memories, which is never a good start to any investigative case.

Typical of the genre, you’ll solve puzzles and point and click your way through the story to unravel its mysteries. It takes inspiration from Samorost and the Rusty Lake series, which makes sense given its whimsical vibes and offbeat atmosphere. And when you top that off with a soundtrack crafted by Victor Butzelaar, it might just be a clear winner.

If you’re on the hunt for something similar while you wait, why not take a look at our list of the best point-and-click adventures on Android to get your fill?

In the meantime, if you’re eager to join in on all the fun, you can do so by checking it out on the App Store and on Google Play.
