A few years ago, the idea of Forza Horizon on PlayStation would have been unthinkable. But here it is: the fifth installment in the series has sped onto PS5.
Racing game fans are certainly familiar with the Forza Horizon series. Although it was exclusive to Xbox for many years, that has changed: Forza Horizon 5 has now launched on PS5 as part of Microsoft’s multi-platform strategy.
Best of all, it supports cross-play, so you can race with friends regardless of platform. It also makes full use of the DualSense and DualSense Edge controllers’ haptic feedback and adaptive trigger features. It’s also worth mentioning that the Forza Horizon 5 PS5 port is Pro Enhanced, delivering a more consistent frame rate and even more stunning visuals.

There are plenty of PS5 reviews for Forza Horizon 5, so here’s a quick overview. Like its counterparts on Xbox and PC, it has garnered high praise. Despite being nearly four years old, the game still feels fresh and varied. It isn’t without flaws—occasional stuttering does occur—but it’s overflowing with content, making it a must-play for any racing fan.
