Hollow Knight Silksong’s first update will make the game easier

Some will be thrilled, others less so.

After nearly seven years in development, Hollow Knight: Silksong finally released last week. The launch was met with such excitement that platforms like Steam, the Nintendo eShop, and the PlayStation Store briefly went down as gamers rushed to grab their copies.

While Silksong has mostly received praise, one aspect has divided players: its difficulty. Some feel it is too punishing, while others argue that the challenge is part of what makes the experience rewarding.

In response to this debate, Team Cherry announced that Silksong’s first update will include early-game difficulty adjustments along with other improvements.
