- Honor of Kings: World sees the first of its Regional Leagues start today
- Participants are duking it out for spots at the World Cup this year
- 18 teams at the KWC will duke it out for the top prize in Riyadh
With summer now becoming a more present time in our minds, it’s little surprise that the road to Riyadh for the top series appearing at the Esports World Cup is now set out. The latest to kick off the competition is Honor of Kings, as the first of their Regional Leagues begin today!
Seven regional leagues, taking place everywhere from the Philippines to Brazil and beyond, will see teams competing to be crowned the best of their region. And, of course, competing to get a coveted spot in the lineup for the Honor of Kings World Cup taking place later this year in Riyadh.
The KWC itself will see 18 teams battling it out amongst themselves for the top spot. For the first time ever the qualifying teams from the Regional League will face off with champions of the KPL Spring season too, promising even more hardcore esports action.

- Indonesia Kings Laga: Group Stage (11th-18th May), Playoffs (30th May, 1st June)
- MY Honor of Kings League: Group Stage (18th April-25th May), Playoffs (6th-8th June)
- Philippine King League: Group Stage (11th April-25th May), Playoffs (6th-8th June)
- Wildcard King Series: Group Stage (16th May-1st June), Playoffs (6th-8th June)
- Major East League: Group Stage (17th-20th April, 24th-27th April), Knockout Stage (2nd-3rd May), Major Last Call (4th May)
- Major West League: Group Stage (17th-20th April, 24th-27th April), Knockout Stage (2nd-3rd May), Major Last Call (4th May)
- Honor of Kings Brazil Championship: Group Stage (16th-18th May, 22nd-25th May), Playoffs (31st May-1st June, 7th-8th June)
