Although the Mafia: The Old Country release date was likely meant to be revealed during PAX East, it was accidentally announced early on the game’s official Game Hub.
Undeniably, many of you have been eagerly awaiting the next chapter in the Mafia saga. A few months back, it was confirmed that it would be launching this summer—but no other details were shared at the time.
Just yesterday, we learned that the game will be showcased during a developer panel with Hangar 13 at PAX East, promising fresh insights and a behind-the-scenes look at the franchise. However, it seems that one of the most important pieces of information—the Mafia: The Old Country release date—might have slipped out a little early.
What is the Mafia: The Old Country release date?
As pointed out by @videotechuk_ on X/Twitter, the date briefly appeared in a Spanish Steam post on the official Game Hub. The post listed the Mafia The Old Country release date as August 8, 2025. The mention has since been removed, but not before the internet took notice.
