The latest MLB 9 Innings 25 trailer sees Mike Trout, Ken Griffey Jr. and Greg Maddux join up in a nostalgic trip back to their youth. And even if you’re not as clued into baseball as some people are (like me) you’ll probably recognise Ken Griffey Jr. from his guest-star role on The Simpsons.
But more importantly, the trailer also highlights the newest suite of updates to MLB 9 Innings that brings it up to par with the recently-concluded 2024 pro season. This includes all new data, logos, uniforms and ballparks that have been added.

Considering it originally released in 2016, MLB 9 Innings has managed to have quite a storied career of its own, but I’m sure that many dedicated fans are most excited to see some of the top players appear on screen together.
Boasting a whole host of modes, including Career, League and Stage Challenges, it’s little surprise that MLB 9 Innings has managed to maintain such a positive rep over the years. But what I think we’ll all be closely looking at is what they bring to the table (or base in this case?) as 2025 rolls onwards.
