As far as unexpected collaborations go I think I speak for everyone when I say that Mob Control x Transformers was one of the dark horse crossovers I hadn’t anticipated. Fortunately, if you’ve missed out so far on getting into this event it’s not quite over, but it will be soon; as the season finale of the event is now in full swing.
This finale will give you the last chance at getting the transformers of Optimus Prime, Megatron, Bumblebee and Starscream to add to your roster. Up until March 16th, all Transformers types will be featured, while new Transformers Booster Packs give you a chance to unlock these characters or upgrade them before the opportunity is lost.
Yes, after March 16th these champions will be gone for good. Fortunately, if you were worried about losing these champions after the event Mob Control has confirmed that players will retain all Transformers cards that are in a playable state, however they will not be obtainable once the event wraps and the Echoes From Cybertron story event will also wrap.
Mob rule
According to the folks over at Mob Control, this crossover with Transformers has proven to be a wild success, so I wouldn’t be surprised if a repeat was on the cards sometime in the future. At the same time of course there’s always the chance that wouldn’t see the return of what was in this event, so if you’ve been hankering for a chance to nab these transformers this really may be your last chance.
