It’s almost time for the first major gaming showcase of 2026.
After a well-earned rest, the gaming industry is jumping right back into hype mode with the New Game+ Showcase 2026, the first major event of the year, slated for January 8. That is, tomorrow.
The minds behind it describe NG+ as “a new type of games showcase,” completely free of paid placements. If you’ve been disillusioned by The Game Awards and some of the trailers shown there, this might be something to look forward to.
During the event, set to premiere at 1 PM PT / 4 PM ET, we’ll see footage from 45 games, some of which you can already check out (and get hyped about) in the show’s recently published trailer.
Among the titles set to appear on the red carpet tomorrow are projects like The Blood of Dawnwalker, Crimson Desert, The Expanse: Osiris Reborn, and The Cube. Naturally, that’s only a small part of what’s to come.
If you’d like to watch the New Game+ Showcase 2026 live, you’ll find the details in the section below.
