The game is currently available in Early Access on PC.
Following in the footsteps of its predecessor, Crown of the Magister, Solasta 2 launched in Steam’s Early Access just yesterday, March 12, and keys are already discounted across both official stores and keyshops.
According to the developer’s estimations, Solasta 2 should remain in Early Access for around a year, during which it will receive more content, from additional classes and quests to online co-op. The team has already shared a roadmap, with the first major update planned for Q3 2026.
In its current state, the game offers 6 playable classes, 13 subclasses, and 4 ancestries to use across Act 1, which is said to provide around 10–15 hours of playtime. The level cap is currently set at 4, with the 1.0 version planned to raise it to 10.
Now, how’s the early reception so far? Not great, not terrible. Players have left mixed reviews on Steam, pointing to bugs, texture pop-in, and very limited character creation as some of the biggest flaws at the moment. On the other hand, those who recommend it say that while it still needs work, Solasta 2 is shaping up to be a solid tactical RPG with enjoyable combat.
