The rumors of an April 21 release were (almost) true!
One of 2025’s hottest games, ESIV: Oblivion Remastered will be available to play today, on Xbox, PC and, yes, Game Pass, after being officially revealed and released today! Though there’s no sign of a PlayStation 5 or Switch 2 release, unfortunately.
A dedicated broadcast showed off all the technical, graphical and quality-of-life improvements the Bethesda Softworks and Virtuous teams have lovingly put into the ESIV remaster.
The base game — which is available now for Game Pass subscribers — comes with the major Shivering Isles and Knights of the Nine story expansions.
There’s also a deluxe edition, which includes the following DLC (available to buy separately) Fighter’s Stronghold expansion, Spell Tome Treasures, Vile Lair, Mehrune’s Razor, The Thieves Den, Wizard’s Tower, Orrery, and 🥁 drum roll, please 🥁 Horse Pack Armor!
