- Pikmin Bloom is set to hold an official Earth Day Walk Party
- Running from April 22nd to the 30th, the event will offer in-game goodies as giveaways
- But hurry, because you’ll need to progress to each milestone by flowers planted!
With Earth Day coming up more than a few top releases have decided to do their bit for the planet by holding various, awareness-raising in-game events. Not least of which is Pikmin Bloom, which will hold an Official Walk Party Event running from April 22nd to the 30th.
This Walk Party will, however, differ from previous incarnations. To fit in with the Earth Day theme, counting flowers planted rather than steps taken. The number of participants will count towards a post-event giveaway of Huge Seedlings for weather-themed Decor Pikmin.
You’ll certainly want to gather your friends if you want to get some of the great rewards on offer, because these are some sharp milestones. Going from 500 million flowers planted, all the way up to 1.5 billion, there are a bevy of milestone rewards on offer for participating players.

And in case you had some questions as we did, no you don’t need to plant a specific kind of flower to progress. Apart from that, jump in and enjoy, then keep an eye out for a promo code delivered directly to your newsfeed to take advantage of the post-event rewards on offer!
Pikmin Bloom is, of course, far from the the only top mobile release holding events for Earth Day. Hosted since 1970 this annual event is intended to promote awareness about environmentalism and the planet’s climate. Little surprise then that it fits so neatly in with the plant-based antics of the titular Pikmin.
