The Stunning Styles event is coming to Pokémon Go, bringing new Pokémon, bonuses, and challenges for you to enjoy. From April 3rd to 7th, you’ll have the chance to encounter rare Pokémon, take on special research tasks, and even catch the Mythical Pokémon Marshadow.
To kick things off, a new Special Research Story, A Striking Shadow, will go live on April 3rd in Pokémon Go. Completing this research will reward you with an encounter with Marshadow, and if you’ve already obtained it from Pokémon Go Fest 2024, you’ll receive Marshadow Candy instead. The Might and Mastery research on the other hand offers numerous other valuable resources.
For the first time, you can catch the Wild Bull Pokémon, Paldean Tauros, in different forms. The Combat Breed will be available in the Iberian Peninsula, the Blaze Breed in the Eastern Hemisphere, and the Aqua Breed in the Western Hemisphere. You’ll also see increased wild encounters with Castform, Burmy, and the chance to find Shiny West Sea and East Sea Shellos.
Raids during the event will feature special Pokémon, including Rockruff, which can evolve into Dusk Form Lycanroc. In one-star raids, you’ll find West Sea Shellos, East Sea Shellos, Espurr, and Rockruff. Three-star raids will include Paldean Tauros in its different regional forms, as well as Decidueye and Hisuian Decidueye.

Furthermore, a free Timed Research opportunity will be available, offering rewards like Kubfu Candy, encounters with Clamperl, Espurr, and Morpeko, and bonuses for catching Pokémon. If you’re looking for even more, a paid Timed Research option will be available for $2, granting additional rewards like Premium Battle Passes, a Lucky Egg, and encounters with themed Pokémon.
