This year’s Pokémon Day has concluded, revealing numerous exciting updates about the popular franchise. The recently released Pokémon TCG Pocket has thrilling news as well, marking both a major milestone and the release of a new expansion. With over 100 million downloads worldwide, the card battler is commemorating the occasion with the highly anticipated Triumphant Light set.
Pokémon TCG Pocket’s Triumphant Light expansion follows Space-Time Smackdown and will be spearheaded by Arceus ex. For the first time, Link Abilities have also been introduced, allowing specific Pokémon to enhance each other when used together. These cards will be marked with a special pattern similar to the actual cards like in the Platinum – Arceus expansion.
To further celebrate Pokémon Day, a limited-time event will run until April 30th, offering free booster packs that guarantee at least one card of 4-star rarity or higher. Whether you’re a seasoned player or just starting out, these packs will help boost your deck with some powerful new additions. Plus, Special missions are also available until March 27th, allowing you to earn additional rewards.
