Fans of Remedy’s universe might have a lot to look forward to at this year’s TGA.
If you love projects from Remedy, you may be delighted to hear that another one could be on the way. A trademark for Control Resonant has been filed, hinting that the studio might be working on something exciting.
What do we know about Control Resonant?
A trademark for Control Resonant was spotted on the European Union Intellectual Property Office website. It was filed by Nordia Attorneys at Law LTD, the same firm that has previously handled trademark filings for Remedy titles. At this time, the project has not been officially announced, and its nature remains unknown. It could be a sequel to the 2019 Control, a spin-off, or something entirely different.
As always with leaks, it is best to take this information with a grain of salt. However, the timing is interesting. The Game Awards are scheduled for December 11, and Remedy has had a strong presence there in the past. With that in mind, it feels like a fitting occasion for a reveal, if one is planned.
For now, all we can do is stay patient and wait to see whether Control Resonant truly marks the next chapter in the universe.
