Bandai Namco’s iconic Gundam strategy series is very close to making its big landing on mobile. SD Gundam G Generation Eternal is expected to launch on April 16th for iOS and Android, with pre-registration currently open and pre-loading starting on the 14th. If you’ve ever wanted to build the ultimate Mobile Suit squad using characters from 70 different Gundam titles, this is your moment.
G Generation Eternal kicks off with more than 500 Mobile Suits and dozens of familiar pilots ready to be deployed. From Mobile Suit Gundam and Gundam W to The Witch from Mercury and Iron-Blooded Orphans, you’ll be able to relive classic scenes, iconic quotes, and major battles in the Main Stage mode, which features stories from ten different Gundam series at launch.
This isn’t just a nostalgia-fuelled collectathon, though. Combat is turn-based and packed with strategic depth. Success means learning each Mobile Suit’s strengths and weaknesses, placing units with precision, and triggering skills at key moments. Each Mobile Suit brings something distinct to the table and it’s up to you to figure out the best combination of mechs.
Customisation runs deep, too. Over 300 Mobile Suits will be available through development at launch, with options to upgrade and enhance your favourite units and characters. You can create your own dream squad and lead them into battle with full control over how they grow and evolve.
