Go on, you know you need that DLC to complete your Stellaris collection.
As far as publishers of strategy and sim games go, particularly 4X titles, there aren’t many that come close to Paradox, at least in terms of the sheer number of releases.
If you’re into the series like Crusader Kings, Victoria, or Stellaris — to name a small portion of the studio’s catalog — you’ll know how expensive it can be to keep up with the torrent of DLC these titles receive.
Don’t get me wrong, I’ve sunk a ton of time into Cities Skylines and love that game, but my bank balance shudders at the thought of another expansion.
So when I see there’s a Paradox Interactive Steam Sale running, you know I’m going to be all over it. And I thought other fans of this publisher would want to know about it too…
Paradox Interactive Steam Deals
Among the best deals in the Paradox Steam sale, you’ll find some strategy games that let you shape history, manage dynasties, and even colonize other planets…
Crusader Kings III stands out for its focus on character-driven storytelling, where you guide a medieval dynasty through intrigue, alliances, and betrayals across generations. If global conquest is more your style, Europa Universalis IV offers a deep sandbox to steer any nation from the late Middle Ages to the early modern era, balancing diplomacy, warfare, and trade with no set win condition.
For a change of pace, Surviving Mars challenges you to build and sustain a colony on the Red Planet, managing resources and colonists’ wellbeing in a harsh, unforgiving environment. Meanwhile, Hearts of Iron IV puts you in command during World War II, with detailed military mechanics that let you plan large-scale operations and alter the course of history.
