Netmarble has just released an exciting update for Tower of God New World, bringing fresh content to the collectible card RPG on Android and iOS. From new characters to events, and other updates, there’s a lot to unpack in the latest patch.
The highlight of this update is the introduction of SSR+ [Luxury] Po Bidau Hugo, a Yellow Element Assassin who commands the Po Bidau Army’s floating ship, the Victor. Hugo thrives in battle, believing it to be where she truly belongs. Her Luxury Shield ability allows her to deal devastating damage to a selected target, making her a powerful addition to any lineup.
Also joining the roster is SSR [Unleashed Desire] David, a Purple Element Support and one of White’s clones. Designed for survivability, David specialises in removing debuffs from allies, making him a valuable asset in strategic battles.
This update further brings the Coliseum Arena, a new multi-deck PvP mode where you compete in real-time battles. The arena runs on a weekly cycle, with certain characters receiving bans or buffs based on their performance in the previous season. The first season runs until March 19th, offering rewards such as Expirable Titles based on ranking.
In addition, several limited-time events are now live, running through March 26th. The [Luxury] Po Bidau Hugo Festival lets players explore Hugo’s Emily Talk Story and claim various rewards, while the Hugo Release Celebration includes multiple activities like Special Summons, Check-Ins, Boost Missions, and TapTap Plus, with prizes such as Suspendiums and an SSR+ Hugo.

The White Day ‘Sweet Popping Candy’ event allows you to collect ‘Little Candy’ through gameplay, which can be exchanged for SSR+ Soulstones, SSR Soulstones, and an [S] Equipment Selection Chest. Lastly, Hugo’s Luxury Festa! event will reward you with up to 60 Gentleman Summon Tickets for completing missions.
And to top it off, new seasons for the Alliance Expedition and Revolution Room have been introduced, keeping the competition fresh and engaging.
