Two classic Nintendo 64 platformers are coming to NSO + Expansion Pack next week


Nintendo Switch Online + Expansion Pack members can already start counting down the days to December 17.

On Wednesday, December 17, Nintendo’s dropping two capital-C classics into NSO + Expansion Pack. Both games launched in 1999 and were published by Ubisoft (or Ubi Soft, as they were known at the time), way before they turned into an Assassin’s Creed factory. Keep reading for all the details.

Rayman 2 and Tonic Trouble are coming to the NSO library

That’s right, it’s Tonic Trouble, starring the purple alien Ed, and Rayman 2: The Great Escape, where our hero must rescue his friends enslaved by evil pirates. So jump, fly, and slide like it’s 1999. Both titles will be available starting December 17, 2025.

Naturally, you’ll need a Nintendo Switch Online + Expansion Pack subscription to access these new additions.
