Gaming’s worst-kept secret is finally floating into the spotlight with a special showcase.
With the recent success of Windrose and the upcoming Assassin’s Creed Black Flag Resynced, it looks like we’re on the precipice of a new pirate age. Ubisoft has just announced that details on the latter are coming this Thursday, April 23, during a worldwide reveal showcase dedicated to “gaming’s worst-kept secret,” as the publisher self-mockingly put it in the event teaser.

If you’re planning to watch the Assassin’s Creed Black Flag Resynced reveal live, set a reminder for April 23 at 4 PM UTC / 6 PM CEST / 9 AM PDT. The showcase will be available on the Assassin’s Creed and Ubisoft YouTube channels.
Since this was indeed a fairly poorly kept secret, we already know quite a bit about Resynced, including its likely release date, which leaked last Friday. In any case, all guesswork should be put to rest very soon, so… See you at the pirate tavern in a few days.
