- Valhalla Survival is set to introduce three new heroes
- Mani, Idis and Sol are all now available with an additional skill called Ballista
- Take on Nightmare mode, a boss raid and other mechanical tweaks in this new update
If you’ve been playing Lionheart Studio’s hack-‘n-slash roguelike Valhalla Survival and somehow found yourself at a loss for new content to play, then you’re in luck. Lionheart has just unveiled three new heroes and an additional skill, Ballista, in their latest update.
The three new heroes are: Mani, a Guardian of the Night who serves as a Warrior and uses golden flashes to attack multiple enemies while increasing defence and attack power via gigantification. Idis, meanwhile, is a fate-weaving Sorceress who can summon the legendary tree Yggdrasil, reducing damage and providing HP for those near.
Finally, there’s Sol, a Lightbringer Rogue who summons Valkyries (erroneously referred to as ‘the sun’s warriors’, but hey-ho) who fire arrows and suppress nearby enemies. You’ll need them, and all the help you can get, what with the new addition of Nightmare Mode, too.
Nightmarish
What is Nightmare Mode? Well, put simply, it’s an even harder mode available for those who’ve completed Chapter 3 Stage 30. So expect plenty of brutal challenges that’ll push you to your limit. Maybe then you’ll be ready to take on the new Eternal Battlefield boss raid, which is available now.
Fortunately, you’ll also have access to the new skill, Ballista, which is all about supporting short-range heroes with a new turret that shoots long-range piercing arrows. Meanwhile, the Accessory Gem Socket System has been introduced, allowing you to now socket gems on your accessories as well as other equipment.
