Good news for fighting game fans: SEGA has launched another beta test for Virtua Fighter 5 R.E.V.O. World Stage, this time focusing on cross-platform online matchmaking between consoles and Steam.
If you’re not quite sure what this game is, here’s a quick overview. World Stage is an upgraded version of Virtua Fighter 5 R.E.V.O., set to officially release on October 30, 2025 for PC, PS5, and Xbox Series X|S. It brings a host of gameplay improvements along with a brand-new single-player campaign. Steam users who already own the game will receive a free update to this latest version, while console players will finally get the chance to play it on their systems.
