That’s right, the upgraded version of the beloved prequel is coming to Steam, PS5, and Xbox Series X|S soon, letting fans experience the crime-filled saga like never before.
The title originally launched as a Switch 2 exclusive on June 5, 2025, alongside Nintendo’s latest console, causing frustration among even the most loyal Yakuza aficionados. Now, a wider audience will get the chance to explore the gripping world of Yakuza 0 with upgraded visuals, smoother performance, and English dubbing. But that’s not the end of the good news. During RGG Summit 2025, it was announced that Yakuza Kiwami and Yakuza Kiwami 2 will also be launching on next-gen consoles for the first time.
What is the Yakuza 0 Director’s Cut PC release date?
The wait should not be too long for both Steam and console players. Yakuza 0 Director’s Cut PC release date is scheduled for December 8 or 9, 2025, depending on your region. The game will launch on the same day on Steam, Xbox Series X|S, and PS5. Fans won’t have to wait long to relive Kazuma Kiryu and Goro Majima’s unforgettable journey in high definition. To help newcomers catch up with the story before Kiwami 3, Ryu Ga Gotoku also announced that they will be releasing a Yakuza Kiwami & Yakuza Kiwami 2 bundle on Switch 2, PlayStation 5, and Xbox Series X|S. This will be the first time these two installments launch on next-gen consoles with English dubbing. The Bundle will launch on Switch 2 on November 13, while Xbox and PlayStation gamers will have to wait until December 8.
