One thing I learned while looking through the thousands and thousands of Fallout: New Vegas mods is that the creators and players are really, really thirsty. So many NSFW mods, I need some church. However, in my search, I found a selection of what I consider to be the funniest Fallout: New Vegas mods available.
Lightsabers mod
How can you have an even vaguely enjoyable future without the promise of Lightsabers? The answer: You can’t. This funny Fallout: New Vegas mod adds the use of lightsabers to the game, allowing you to engage in battles and cut your foes in half. They come in 9 colours and in both single and double-blade styles.
Gravity Gun
Just like Half-Life, the Gravity Gun can manipulate the gravity of the object it is pointed at. It could be a ferocious Death Claw or an innocent bystander; this Fallout: New Vegas mod will let you throw them wherever you like.
Fallout: New Vegas Randomizer mod
This one makes it to the list of funniest Fallout: New Vegas mods for the sheer chaos it creates when installed. The mod randomizes everything in the game, and I mean everything. Enemy types, load-outs, starting stats, gravity, and jump height are all thrown into the bingo ball randomizer. It results in some serious carnage.
King of The Ring
Try your hand at becoming the next king of the ring with this Fallout: New Vegas mod. Simply head to Dempsey’s gym and start your violent career as a boxer. As if there weren’t enough distracting side quests already.
Bad MothaF***A Fallout: New Vegas companion mod
This mod gives you a companion in Fallout: New Vegas with some of the funniest and most profound voice lines in the game. He is a super mutant with only one word in his vocabulary. You guessed it, its MothaF***a. He can tell you his whole life story with these two words. But, more importantly, he also slays.
Killable Children
I am all about realism in RPGs and this just adds a little more to it all. Maybe it shouldn’t be on the list of funniest Fallout: New Vegas mods, but it certainly gives me a chuckle. Sue me. It saves me going into the command console to get rid of them anyway.
Become a Super Mutant in Fallout: New Vegas
We all dreamed about becoming the hulking rabid, muscular titans of the wasteland at some point. This Fallout: New Vegas mod lets you do just that. The mod will allow you to really role play as a Super Mutant with traits, perks, and gear all designed just for the race. It also includes some incredibly dashing hats.
The Sword of a Thousand Truths
The Sword of a Thousand Truth is a weapon for the ages. It has an obscene reach and damage that is completely unreasonable. However, the new weapon looks cool as hell and will be sure to turn all your foes into radiated paté. If you add the multiplayer mod, you can obliterate your friends too.
Cannibal Reborn Mod
Is eating corpses a funny mod for Fallout: New Vegas? I don’t know, really, but it’s amusing to have it in the game, nonetheless. This mod completely revamps the cannibal aspect of the game, including extra bonuses, exploding limbs, and more. Bon Appetite.
Nude Ray 5000 Fallout: New Vegas mod
This funny mod for Fallout: New Vegas is still PG unless you’re one of the degenerates who has installed one of the many nude mods out there. The simple weapon can be pointed at any of the wastelanders in the game, and, pow; nothing but their delicates remain. If one of those New Vegas citizens is getting a bit ahead of themselves, bring them down to your level of immaturity by blasting their clothes off.
Zombie mod
Sometimes, a mod comes along that just amazes me at the level of detail and complexity people are willing to put into freely available mods. This fantastic piece of work for Fallout: New Vegas implements an entire zombie element to the game. This inspired mod has coded everything from strategic outbreak location to infection spreading and multiple zombie types into New Vegas.
Unlimited Followers in Fallout: New Vegas
The more, the merrier, right? With this funny mod for Fallout: New Vegas, you can gather as many followers as you like in the wasteland. This mod lets you have as many followers as you like, and they will come with you everywhere you go. You no longer have to have the restriction of only one friend in Fallout: New Vegas; now, you can rock up with a posse.
