This year alone has seen some truly incredible titles, starting with Ender Magnolia: Bloom in the Mist, which left early access and received rave reviews.
It continued with the likes of Citizen Sleeper 2: Starward Vector and Dynasty Warriors: Origins, but the real heavy hitters started landing in February. Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2 was a massive leap over the original and presented some excellent story-telling, and Like a Dragon: Pirate Yakuza in Hawaii is an excellent spin-off to the mainline franchise.
And the hits haven’t stopped ever since. Whether you’re revisiting Oblivion with the new remaster, setting out to slay enemies in Clair Obscur delving into deliveries with Death Stranding 2: On the Beach, these single-player games more than live up to the hype.

I guarantee that 99% of the chuds in these comments hating on Assassin's Creed Shadows never even played it for themselves and basing most of their opinions on the hatemongering of Ubisoft and the game itself spread by selective outrage merchants and culture war grifters. It makes them seeth and cope hard that not only is Assassin's Creed Shadows critically successful on top review lists, but it's also financially successful and the second best overall selling game of 2025 with Top 2 status in two of the largest gaming markets: US and EU. Truly some of the most forced hate and propaganda outrage in gaming history.
I've been looking into best games of all time lists to see if I remember a better game than Clair obscur but I can't manage that. Have to say it's the best game I've ever played

I’m about 7 hours into Expedition 33 and tbh…meh…it is okay. Absolutely not living up to the hype it has received. Granted I’m only 7 hours into so my opinion may change but at best I would rate it 6 out of 10.
