A new Mega Man sounds great though I’m waaaay behind on the series so it will take me awhile to get to that one.

That badger game is right up my alley. I love when a good platformer does levels inspired by other games, especially the spooky levels. For some reason I eat that shit up. Even the dog shepherding game looked great- the animation on the dog was pretty amazing. Other than that I don’t really get hyped for games that are years away from release still. We got Phantom Blade 0 coming this year with a date finally!
To be honest my backlog grew considerably this year and I will take any sort of break from new releases so I can catch up.

Outside of the final reveal being a letdown, I thought it was a fun show. I’m stoked for Star Wars Fate of the Old Republic, Phantom Blade 0, the Podracer game, and Resident Evil Requiem.

Show was pretty good, but that last announcement that Geoff hyped so much and ended up being another generic hero shooter kinda ruined it for me lol
People talk alot of shit about the game awards like we have an equivalent to compare it to in todays ecosystem.

The game I’m most excited for, by far, is Mega Man Dual Override. Over the past ten years or so I’ve become a huge Mega Man fan. How many games have come out in the entire franchise since then? One (Well, two if you count the gatcha game that came out in 2020, which I don’t). Mega Man 11 came out seven years ago, and by the time Dual Override comes out, it will have been nine years. I was sure that the IP was dead, aside from occasional merch drops and cameo appearances in other games. And I’m probably just delusional, but I’m hoping that this new game generates enough hype to get Capcom to finally release new games in the spinoff series, like X9, ZX3, and Legends 3.

This show was shit 😂. Normally I'm very excited or looking forward to most of the games. The show format was weird and everyone there.
Soma being divisive? I think everybody agrees it's great game with even better story.
Control and stupid never dies were my highlights.
Both being third person character action style games are exactly the fresh air I want in the gaming space.
Yet ppl will just keep complaining about the same extraction shooters without trying anything different.
This was the first time in years I watched live and I was pleasantly surprised! Was overall pretty entertaining and we got some really cool announcements
