As good as it’s been in 2025 with the sheer range of games across numerous genres, 2026 is a clean slate. New IPs and long-awaited sequels, some truly out of left field as they push the limits of graphical fidelity, storytelling and gameplay.
Endings and beginnings abound, whether it’s returning to the scene of a great disaster for one final requiem or exploring new horizons by air, land and sea. I see some woke crap and unreal engine 5 performance problems games in this list and the smaller games look meh to me nicr garbagr list no wonder many people are not buying new games anymore when you under cook you get roasted these companies need to wake up and smell the roses.

The Legend of Heroes: Trails in the Sky 2nd Chapter remake – Fall 2026 (the 1st Chapter remake was incredible & amazing ~ 1 of the very best remakes I have ever seen & played)
The Expanse: Osiris Reborn (release date rumored, not yet announced, but I am still hoping for a 2026 release date especially now that Exodus is confirmed early 2027)

Actually, the most anticipated game of 2026 is still Death Stranding 2 – the PC version. And possibly a Director's Cut coming in 2027.
2026 is primed to be another epic year for gaming. Starting with RE9 at the end of February the release onslaught begins. March in particular is going to be a crazy month if you want to get all the releases. I know i myself want to play John Carpenter's Toxic Commando, Crimson Desert, 007 First Light, Screamer, Replaced, Mouse PI and Marathon all in March!
