Over the years, Dragon Ball has introduced some of the best and most iconic transformations in the history of anime. From Goku’s initial growth into a Super Saiyan to his most recent unlocking of Perfected Ultra Instinct, most believe there is not a single franchise that handles transformations as well.
As such, Vegeta’s latest form seems to corroborate this fact. Despite failing to unlock Ultra Instinct for himself, Vegeta forged his own path to power by making use of his own strengths, which eventually gave way to the legendary Ultra Ego form. Although this is one of Dragon Ball’s strongest forms, there are some other anime states that could potentially match it.

Asta’s Devil Union Form Is Absurdly Strong
Series: Black Clover
Although Black Clover doesn’t typically exist at the level of Dragon Ball, Asta’s Devil Union state boasts some incredible power. Born from his merger with his resident Devil, Liebe, Asta gains immense magical and physical prowess that allows him to face the most powerful characters in his universe.
Admittedly, this form isn’t even close to Ultra Ego in terms of raw physical or destructive output. However, Devil Union allows Asta to utilize Liebe’s anti-magic, which has the power to nullify and negate special magical powers. From a reverse equalization standpoint, it may work similarly against Ki. Similarly with his swords, Asta’s Devil Union is an interesting match-up for Vegeta.

Madara’s Ten Tails’ Jinchuriki Form Is Terrifying
Series: Naruto
Although Naruto and Sasuke are often spoken of as the most powerful Shinobi by the end of the original series, it was Madara’s Ten-Tails Jinchuriki form that may actually take the title. Even before he achieved it, Madara was a powerhouse that only the most powerful characters could sufficiently deal with, and his insane strength was only bolstered considerably through his new form.
Due to gaining the chakra of the Ten-Tails, Madara’s inherent power and Shinobi abilities were dialed up to 11, allowing him to create and utilize some of the greatest jutsu that the franchise has ever seen. Though there is still a massive gap in raw power scaling between him and Ultra Ego Vegeta, the hax Madara gains are enough to provide an interesting match-up.

Ichigo’s True Bankai + Horn Of Salvation Is Very Strong
Series: Bleach
As the main character of Bleach, it’s no secret that Ichigo’s strength by the end of his series is absolutely incredible. Though he has sported a few forms over the years, his True Bankai + Horn of Salvation state merges his Quincy, Shinigami, and Hollow powers in a single form that boasts some of the greatest Spiritual Pressure in the entire franchise.
This form was so powerful that Ichigo used it to defeat Yhwach, who was a villain most were convinced was impossible to kill due to The Almighty. Because of his incredible Spiritual Power, Ichigo comfortably rests as one of the most powerful in his franchise, and his performance against Yhwach proves that he would be an interesting match-up for Vegeta too.

Cosmic Garou Has the Power of the Cosmos
Series: One-Punch Man
As one of the best characters in the entire series, Garou was immensely powerful even before he got his monstrous power-ups due to his unmatched Martial Arts prowess, which allowed him to defeat many of the strongest S-Class heroes. However, towards the end of the Monster Association Arc, he would gain cosmic power that finally allowed him to match Saitama for a time.
The feats that Saitama and Cosmic Garou showcased in their fight go down as some of the most broken in the anime industry, as their punches instantly wiped out millions of galaxies, and they battled far faster than the speed of light. Due to this insane strength and speed, Cosmic Garou is definitely a match for Ultra Ego Vegeta.

Sung Jinwoo’s Shadow Monarch Controls Darkness
Series: Solo Leveling
Solo Leveling is considered by many to be the spiritual successor to Dragon Ball due to the emphasis it places on combat and power scaling, and at the heart of it all is the protagonist, Sung Jinwoo. Through his access to The System, Jinwoo is able to control and manipulate darkness itself, which eventually propels him to multiversal levels of strength.
Of all the characters from different franchises, Jinwoo in his Shadow Monarch state would likely provide the Ultra Ego Vegeta with the greatest challenge, with many fans even convinced that he would win against the Saiyan Prince. With his innumerable shadow soldiers and full control over darkness itself, Jinwoo would make for Vegeta’s greatest match-up.

Ultra Instinct Goku Is Vegeta’s Greatest Rival
Series: Dragon Ball
In the history of anime, the rivalry between Goku and Vegeta remains one of the most influential. From the early days of Dragon Ball Z, these two have been pushing one another to reach even greater heights, and though Goku always seemed to be one step ahead of his rival, this has changed in the modern landscape.
Although Goku became the first to achieve a mythical transformation that only the Angels can use, Vegeta eventually closed this gap in the Granolah Arc. It was then that he unlocked his own Divine Transformation in Ultra Ego, which allowed him to match his rival through his own path to power. Ultimately, Goku and Vegeta go down as equals in one of the greatest rivalries in anime history.
.All of these series can be streamed on Crunchyroll.
