Infinity Nikki may seem like a totally cozy game, but its main story has a much darker lore. At the start of the game, Nikki meets The Seer, a mysterious figure who saves her from losing herself in the abyss. She does not reveal her identity, yet there are a few hints in the quest, as she knows a bit too much about the story elements.

The Seer’s lore is also tied to the Sea of Stars area, where players can co-op with other players. It’s hard to understand what Sea of Stars actually is, and not even she knows all about it. Yet, some interesting things are revealed in the story quests about this mysterious figure.
Who Is The Seer?
Nikki finds herself stuck in a dimensional rift, which is a rift between time and space. In simpler words, you can understand it as a broken dimension. In this realm, she meets a mysterious character called The Seer. She doesn’t tell Nikki her true name but asks to be referred to as a Seer for now. In this broken dimension, the remains of the broken worlds are present in the form of lost stars.
The game’s beginning changes from version 1.5, which starts with Nikki being stuck in the Dimensional Rift.
The Seer appears to be quite knowledgeable; she knows about how the world ends every time, as she comments on how beautiful and lonely each end is. The Seer also refers to Nikki as her Pink star and guides her towards the Sea of Stars. She also takes the form of Nikki, although her clothes are different, which strongly implies that the Seer is a different version of Nikki.
The Sea of Stars is another mysterious realm where Nikki from other worlds can meet. It’s a world where all time coexists, whether it’s present, past or future.
The Seer explains that the dimensional rift is about to break down, and they must escape this realm before that. While they are making their escape, Nikki from other worlds also helps them, and they find their way to the Sea of Stars.
What Happened To Miraland?
The Seer then further explains to Nikki about the destruction of Miraland. She saved Nikki from the brink of destruction and reset the time to give her another chance of saving the world. She used the power of the Sea of Stars to bring her back.
The Seer further explains that she has stayed in The Sea of Stars for a long time, but despite that, she cannot understand it completely. According to her, Nikki possesses the power to save the world in the form of the Heart of Infinity. It’s strong enough to change the destiny of worlds meant to be destroyed.
The world has been repeatedly destroyed due to the presence of Heart of Infinity while Nikki remains helpless, but the Seer hopes that with the use of Miracle Outfits, maybe she could do it this time. The Miracle Outfits can change the nature of the Heart of Infinity.
She tells Nikki to remain hopeful as the closure of one path may pave the way for others, and she herself experienced it in the past. The Seer also mentions that she was once a girl just like Nikki, who was pure from all the traumatic things and multiple failures.
When Nikki asks for more details about who she is, The Seer mentions that she is the one who knows her the most. This either implies that she is Nikki’s guardian connected with her consciousness through the Sea of Stars, or she is Nikki herself, who has faced the destruction of Miraland many times. More about her may be revealed as our journey in Miraland continues, although The Seer wishes to remain mysterious.
