If it’s not Alyssa, why show her so much in the first teaser. It’s so obvious it’s her and I’m glad they came out and said it’s not Lisa because that was such a dumb theory

There's a death animation where the monster bites Grace's head. Other YouTubers have drawn similarities to the famous painting of Saturn eating his offspring. That's what makes me think the monster is Alycia Ashcroft.
Looks like this theory is more likely now that the director said it's not Lisa Trevor and that the sound she makes are a placeholder

Lisa is the most unexplored storyline in resident evil…. It would be perfect to explore this connection
RE9 is meant as the final chapter to the '"old" resident evil and also being the start of something new.
So many of the things we'll see in those games are just an omage to the older games or certain scenes. '
On the topic of her being Lisa, explain the shakles to me. The shakles on the legs are similar, but the once we see on her wrists aren't the same kind of shakle she had in RE1, so somebody had to have put those on her.
As long as we have no explaination for that, this simply isn't Lisa. Not even completely sure if it's Alyssa. And no, I don't think Lisa died in the explosion.
When we last saw her, she was fighting Wesker in the entrance of the mansion, so potentially furtherst from explosion with the biggest chance to "survive".
I don’t see the story reason for it to be Lisa Trevor. Her arch finished in Resident Evil remake
