Most Beautiful Spots In Gibbi Point In The Sims 4: Adventure Awaits

We tend to get exciting new worlds when The Sims 4 gives us an expansion pack, and the Adventure Awaits pack is no different, bringing us into the dazzling world of Gibbi Point that was inspired by Australia and New Zealand’s abundance of natural beauty.

Between exciting and adventurous getaways, reality show competitions, and all the other fun Adventure Awaits has to offer, be sure you swing by some of these stunning locations around Gibbi Point. Natural splendor awaits in all three of its beautiful neighborhoods, so be sure you’re fully exploring throughout Jellyfish Junction, Crystal Valley, and Wanderwood Wilds.

Fearful Fish Lounge

Easily one of the most stunning custom locations in all of Gibbi Point (and possibly of any of the expansion packs for The Sims 4 so far) is the Electric Lagoon, which really comes alive at night with hundreds of glowworms to offer a beautiful glow to your nighttime swims.

If you’re pursuing the Gibbi Point Secrets as part of the world quest in the pack, you’ll be sent here to come swimming during the nighttime hours when the worms are at their brightest. Prepare to have your breath stolen at this wonderful watering hole!

Plumbird Park

You’ll need to do a bit of traveling to get there once you arrive at the park, but send your Sims over toward the large multicolored water pools on the edge of the lot when you head to the park.

There, you can check out Hothead Rock Geyser, a stunning natural feature to explore in the pack. The area itself is beautiful, with pathways leading your Sims safely through what’s occasionally a dangerous area.

If you’re there at the right time, you might even be lucky enough to see the geyser spout!

Camp Gibbi Gibbi

If you’ve got your Sim pursuing the challenging but oh-so rewarding career path in the Park Worker career, you’ll be sending them off to Camp Gibbi Gibbi every single weekend to help the littlest adventurers enjoy a fun, safe getaway.

This premade campground lot has everything you could possibly need for Sims at sleepaway camp – bunkbeds for the campers along with cabins for the camp leaders, a kitchen for camp meals, space for Archery training, a lake with a dock to go Diving into the lake or Kayaking across it, and so much more.

Prospector’s Paradise (Vacant Residential)

If you hover over the neighborhood icon for Crystal Valley, you’ll get to hear the sad and spooky tale of how the Scoops Gold Mine closed suddenly when it was replaced by crystals, which your Sims can now go panning for in the Adventure Awaits expansion.

If you head down to the dilapidated gold mine building near the bridge in the top-right corner of the Gibbi Point map, you’ll find what remains of the once-prosperous mine. You can even stop and speak with Buddy Scoop, a child with a table set up to tell you all about the local collectibles.

Closest Lot

Addam Commune (Vacant Residential(

Hiding in the park near the Addam Commune in the northern section of Crystal Valley, you’ll find a rather peculiar bird waiting to be befriended. The Plumbird is a new addition with Adventure Awaits, and you’ll enjoy plenty of world questing if you’d like the chance to get to meet this mythical creature!

She can be found someplace by her enormous nest in a circlet of trees near the residential lot, and your Sims can enjoy plenty of unique interactions with this intriguing new Sims 4 addition.

Jellyfish Junction Town Square Boardwalk

Neighborhood

Jellyfish Junction

Closest Lot

Fletcher’s Cottage (Residential)

There’s plenty to see and do all around Jellyfish Junction, the seaside neighborhood added with The Sims 4 Adventure Awaits, and you’ll find that a lot of it can begin and end right in your own backyard down on the Jellyfish Junction boardwalk town square.

If you’re trying to uncover the secrets of Gibbi Point through the long series of adventure quests, you’ll be familiar with the area – it’s where you find the increasingly interactive map of the town, as well as the Storyteller Sim you’ll need to chat with to learn some lore.

The Old Lighthouse

Neighborhood

Revive and Thrive Retreat

It’s one heck of a hike away from the town center in Jellyfish Junction, but the most adventurous of Sims can head all the way out to the old Lonely Lighthouse overlooking the bay.

Seriously, come prepared for a hike – it’s a gorgeous stroll, but it takes a long time to get there. Our Sim ended up swimming from the docks at Jellyfish Junction, and it still took him two whole hours to arrive.

When you get here, you’ve got a stunning view of the new world, as well as a telescope for optimal stargazing should you arrive at night. You can check out letters left at the lighthouse, too, and – wait, was that a shadowy figure in the window on the second floor?

The Fire Tower

Neighborhood

Wanderwood Wilds

Closest Lot

Hothead Rock Hideaway (Vacant Residential)

Another lot located pretty far out of your way (unless you move onto one of the two familial lots nearby), the Fire Tower is a haunting old building where you’ll meet up with a pretty interesting Sim – one who doesn’t seem too interested in rejoining the rest of the town, with how long they’ve been up there.

Even if the Hermit Park Ranger isn’t the most social Sim, the area they’ve got to look out over sure is stunning. Check for footprints on the trail nearby, too, if you’d like to learn about the Lost Adventurer.

Revive and Thrive Retreat

While plenty of the content in The Sims 4: Adventure Awaits is focused on children, there’s a lot for adults to do and enjoy as well! Going away isn’t just for the kids, either – if your adult Sims need a break from reality, consider sending them to relax at the Revive and Thrive Retreat.

You’ll find all kinds of healthy living gear here, with the lot oriented for fitness and mindfulness-based getaways. You’ll find a number of rooms in different sizes, a communal gathering space with a living room and full kitchen (complete with a blender to make smoothies), a large gym center, and a luxuriously oversized pool in the middle with sunbeds for ample relaxation.

No need to wander too far off the beaten path if you’re looking for a peaceful little slice of nature in your own backyard in Wanderwood Wilds, with Plumbird Park right there ready to be enjoyed and explored. The jumping-off point for plenty of other places in our list is a must-see in itself!

Families with Child Sims will find plenty of activities to keep their littles busy and active on the delightfully robust playground here, and there are plenty of seats and scenery for the grownup Sims to check out as well. It’s a great option for getting the family out of the house without splurging on a proper getaway.
