New Features
- Preparation for the debut of Amber Canyon research area
Limits to Be Unlocked
- Expanded capacity of the bag’s ingredients pocket will increase from 700 to 800
Balance Adjustments
- Max levels of main skill Bad Dreams (Charge Strength M)will increase from 6 to 7
- Adjustments to friendship points when encountering Pokémon with a special appearance rate during the New Moon Day event. During the New Moon Day event, just encountering a Pokémon with a special appearance rate during your sleep research will increase its friendship points by 3. Poké Biscuits and other similar items can also be used to further increase friendship points, as usual. Additional adjustments related to Pokémon with special appearance rates are planned for future updates.
Main Skill Changes
Certain main skills have been strengthened in this update.
- Energizing Cheer S: In exchange for decreased effectiveness, Pokémon with Energizing Cheer S will have an increased chance of their main skill triggering. In most cases, this will slightly increase the total amount of Energy recovered per day. The probability of this main skill targeting the helper Pokémon with the lowest Energy on your team has been raised a bit more.
- Stockpile (Charge Strength S): If Stockpile is triggered 8 times or more, Strength gains will greatly increase. Pokémon with Stockpile (Charge Strength S)—Drifloon and Drifblim—will have an increased chance of their main skill triggering.
Other
- Fixes to a bug that occurs in the Research Community under very specific conditions. Fixes to a bug that sometimes caused friends’ sleep results and rewards to not be delivered if those friends used the “Review All at Once” function. Note: This may occur when a friend uses “Review All at Once” with a Pokémon GO Plus + or a smartwatch.
