“Anxiety Horror” Game No, I’m Not a Human Hits 500k Sales

Publisher Critical Reflex has revealed that “anxiety horror” game No, I’m Not a Human has managed to hit a pretty impressive sales milestone since launching last month.

According to a message on social media, No, I’m Not a Human has racked up 500,000 sales for itself. That’s a particularly impressive figure when we consider that the game has only been out for around a month, and that it’s only available on PC right now as well.

To celebrate the game’s sales milestone, Critical Reflex and developer Trioskaz shared an update on Steam with details regarding what’s coming to No, I’m Not a Human in the future, and there’s plenty on the horizon for the game.

No, I’m Not a Human has done very well for itself in sales terms.

The two studios say their “utmost priority” for their game is to fix bugs and introduce new quality-of-life features, but they acknowledge that this “might not sound especially interesting”, so new guests are being added to the game as well.

Twelve new arrivals will be introduced in No, I’m Not a Human‘s next major update, and they’re all based on players who have contributed to the game’s Patreon. Trioskaz and Critical Reflex say there’s more coming in this update as well, but that more will be revealed “at a later date”.

If you’re unfamiliar with No, I’m Not a Human, it’s a psychological horror game that shares some of its DNA with the likes of Papers, Please and Mouthwashing (although it’s not really ‘like’ either of those games, strictly speaking).

The game takes place in an apocalyptic setting wherein aliens known as Visitors stalk the streets at night, and they want to get into your house. You’ll have to decide whether those knocking at your door are Visitors or just desperate humans seeking solace.

No, I’m Not a Human is available right now on PC via Steam. You can read our very own Blair’s review of the game right here.
