I didn't like the story tbh. One of the main reasons I bought the game was to see how the story would eventually connect to the town of Silent Hill. (You know, the ONE thing the game is NAMED AFTER?) It never gets there.
The story feels like an original Japanese Mythology horror game that they just slapped the Silent Hill name onto.
Tormented souls is way more of the.silent hill game I want , at least silent hill 1 remake is coming. This is no way silent hill. I will try this when it's much cheaper. Great vid as always

Playing on series x, I’ve found the night time graphics to be pretty lacking in the ‘other place.’ Lots of color bleed that I haven’t seen in a couple console generations. Currently stuck on a boss fight and frustrated lol

I won't lie. After the school ssction. It has some of the worst combat I've experienced in a game in a while. Enemy spam ganks for a system designed to fight 1 at a time, awful camera angles that get you killed, never-ending enemy fights towards the end, difficulty options being misleading on actual scale. Only thing that kept me going through it was the story. Definitely won't try to get the other ending.

This game is absolute trash. I’m a huge SH fan. I played them all even the games on PSP. 2 is my favorite. This game is a clunky, repetitive slow mess. The weapon durability is annoying because there are way too few tool boxes. I have completely lost interest in it because of how clunky it is. Just my two cents.
Very neat and well explained.
As a big fan of the first four games in the series, I feel as though Silent Hill f stands confidently alongside those original games. It has all the best qualities of those original titles and even some improvements in many regards. I went in with tempered expectations and came out with what could easily become my favorite game in the series. If you are curious about this game in any regard, I would highly recommend you check it out, you'll be in for a top notch experience.
My question is, is there any difference between playing the game yourself, and watching a playthrough of the game
