The game takes place in the deadly “no man’s land” between two kingdoms locked in a ceaseless war. In this purgatory, a devastating new plague called the Blight has emerged, fueled by the blood of the fallen, turning the infected into monsters (essentially medieval zombies). You and your kin, the Writhens, are the only ones willing to venture forth to eradicate the all-consuming Blight at its source.
