Fortnite and The Simpsons have come together for an epic mash-up for this year’s mini-season. This special season is much shorter compared to regular Battle Royale seasons and it gets weekly updates, so it feels very fast-paced.

Epic Games will be adding new weapons and content every week until the end of the season. For the second week of the season, it introduced players to the Cobalt Slingshot and the Deodorant Applicator. This guide will tell players what they need to know about the Deodorant Applicator in Fortnite, including how to find it and how it works.

How to Get the Deodorant Applicator in Fortnite

Ever since it was leaked, players were looking forward to the release of the Deodorant Applicant, and it finally became available on November 8.

The Deodorant Applicator is an Epic rarity weapon, so even though it can be found as standard floor loot and inside chests, players will have a higher chance of obtaining it if they search Mr. Burns’s Mystery Boxes, by raising the flag at Kampy Krusty, or solving the power plant puzzle, as these methods will usually grant higher rarity loot.

Deodorant Applicator Weapon Overview

  • Damage: 11
  • Fire rate: 14.5

Players who played Fortnite during Chapter 2 Season 7 might remember the Kymera Ray Gun – the Deodorant Applicator is very similar to this weapon. It fires a ray that continuously deals 11 base damage while in direct contact with the target. Players can keep the Shoot button pressed down and the ray will continue to shoot out of the weapon, draining its energy. However, if it fires the ray for too long, it will overheat and players will have to wait a few seconds for it to cooldown. Once its energy is depleted, they will have to find another Deodorant Applicator, as it cannot be recharged.
