I'm thinking of purchasing foundry, but I can't see if there is videochat integrated. If I want to see my players, do I have to run teams or meet or zoom, or is it integrated in foundry?
he keep saying stuff like easy, accessible, with a single click. this looks like its gonna take hours and hours to begin to learn and hours to teach players how to use.. I just want a map with some monsters on it
Wishing you'd develop a Demo campaign complete with monsters, treasure, different environments so that potential clients can sample what's on offer. The demo was an instant turn-off, but I suspect that this VTT has more to offer.
Can this be used with 2E rules?
I know this video's a year old, but as someone who's been getting into foundry for non-dndbeyond hosting, I love how you embrace 3rd party devs, plugins, etc. I also love that I don't need to do a subscription – one time fee purchase is awesome.
How easy is it to important Art and tokens into FVT? im thinking of swapping over from roll 20, but wanna make sure i can import all my custom art and homebrew

Looking to switch to this. Fantasy Grounds is a pretty powerful system too, but it's really hard to customize stuff and dev support is almost nonexistent. They have like 1 guy working on 50 different game systems.
Can I use this just for maps on the tv, while everyone is in the same room?
I'm playing ad&d 2e, so I doubt there's any support there…but putting away the miniatures would be cool lol

Amazing product- I'd been using Roll20 for years, thought it was great and didn't think you could really improve on it.
Then a friend mentioned playing pathfinder, they did some research and saw Foundry, they set it up and- I was blown away. Blood splatters and animations for spells and attacks, animation effects, it started raining in the game screen, lights had different effects, there was a thing for showing how high you were flying just- honestly great. The only slight downside is that you have some setup/ you need to host the servers yourself- but it's honestly not that bad and totally worth it for what you get.
