Trainers, get excited, a brand new Mega Evolution has just been revealed for Lucario, Mega Lucario Z!
Mega Lucario Z will make its debut in Pokémon Legends: Z-A – Mega Dimension, the DLC that is due to release on 10th December, 2025.
Mega Evolution is revamping, with the introduction of Z Mega Evolution. According to the Pokémon website,
“Pokémon that undergo Z Mega Evolution require less time to fire off moves after receiving the orders from their Trainer, but they also burn through their Mega Power very quickly, making them less suited for long battles. Z Mega Evolutions are most effective at securing a quick, decisive victory.”
Like the original Mega Lucario, Mega Lucario Z will be a Steel and Fighting type Pokémon, but with a focus on even bigger attacks in battle.
It will be interesting to see how Pokémon GO will handle Z Mega Evolutions, as it appears that in Legends Z-A they will have a shorter attack cooldown, but will also burn through their Mega Gauge quicker than other Mega Pokémon.
