If you’re ready to move beyond the classic cozy farming game formula, then check out Animal Rescue Network! You arrive in Water’s Edge, a small town that was damaged by a powerful storm. Homes have been damaged, shops closed, and the animal sanctuary is in shambles. That’s where you come in. You’re the new caretaker of the animal sanctuary and have come to rebuild it and the town.
Start your brand new journey in Animal Rescue Network by customizing your own character. Pick from a range of hairstyles, skin tones, facial features, clothing items, and accessories. Then, get to restoring the sanctuary so you can nurse ill animals back to full health. Some have been exhausted by the storm, while others are injured, sick, weak, or just need a new home. There are 14 adorable types of animals to help out. You’ll even have the help of Romy, the veterinarian, to figure out what’s wrong and how best to treat each critter.
Beyond the everyday care of the animals at the sanctuary, you’ll also receive visitors in Animal Rescue Network. These visitors are eager to see the sanctuary and how it functions. They’ll take a look around, react to your hard work, and even leave donations! You’ll also have creative freedom to design and build the barns, enclosures, and shelters for all of your animals so they suit everyone’s needs. Plus, your home is also yours to design!
Release Date
Animal Rescue Network is planned for release on Steam and Nintendo Switch. There’s a Kickstarter page with all of the details of the game. The campaign hasn’t launched yet, so keep an eye out!
