Every Character And Their Voice Actor In Resident Evil Requiem

Resident Evil fans have a strong love for the franchise for many reasons, but its characters are definitely one of them. They might not have the deepest personality or writing, but they are charismatic and cool like few others in the genre. Resident Evil Requiem enters the canon with a mix of old and brand new characters, ready to make you love them.

With new characters comes the chance to receive new impressive voice actors, such as Angela Sant’Albano, the actor behind the new co-protagonist, Grace Ashcroft. Let’s go over every returning and new voice actor bringing life (and death) to the characters of Resident Evil Requiem.

Grace Ashcroft

Played By Angela Sant’Albano

Grace Ashcroft is a completely new character in the series, and Requiem sees her trying to overcome her fears to learn more about the mystery regarding her mother’s death and what Victor Gideon is behind. You’ll spend most of your playing as her and learning more about her personality.

After facing the past, you still can do different activities in RE Requiem.

Grace is brought to life by Angela Sant’Albano, a voice actor who debuted in the video games industry with Requiem. She had some experience before in movies, becoming Rosa in Joss Whedon’s The Nevers (2021-2023) and Bertha Perkins in the film Genius (2016). It’s not a long career, so we hope that Angela gains all the recognition she deserves with her fantastic role in Requiem.

Our Sam Woods got the chance to interview Angela for the launch of Requiem. They spoke about her debut in video games as an actor and also a player, going over classics for the first time. You can check the interview here.

Leon S. Kennedy

Played By Nick Apostolides

The one that has been making ladies (and guys) have thoughts that can’t be described. Leon S. Kennedy, the co-protagonist of RE2 and RE6 and the main character in RE4, is back for one more ride in the killing zombies business. Requiem sees him at his oldest (late 40s), dealing with a strange condition and investigating what Victor Gideon has to do with it.

Nick Apostolides, the actor behind Leon in the remakes of Resident Evil 2 and 4, gives his voice and soul one more time for this new version of the character. Before being Leon, Apostolides already had a career in TV, movies, and other video games, such as the Life is Strange series.

Sam also had the chance to speak to Nick. They went over his career as Leon, having the character be a surprise in Requiem for so long, and what he feels about this older iteration. Check the interview here.

Victor Gideon

Played By Antony Byrne

Requiem’s big antagonist, Victor Gideon, is a doctor behind some experiments in Umbrella, and he’s a mysterious figure with outstanding strength. As you make progress in the story, you’ll find out what his deal is and why he is so interested in Grace and Leon.

Gideon is played by Antony Byrne, an actor who you might remember from other video games, such as Fable III, Vampyr, A Plague Tale: Requiem, and Dying Light 2. However, he also has a long career in TV, working on many series over the years. Some of them are Spender (1991-1993), Touching Evil (1997-1999), and Outlander (2014-2026).

Alyssa Ashcroft

Played By Jane Perry

Grace’s mother, Alyssa Ashcroft, is a character that fans of the series will be familiar with since Resident Evil Outbreak. She was one of the eight playable characters in the spin-off, a journalist who escaped from Raccoon City. 23 years later, we get to see Alyssa again, hinting at a big mystery that we will try to solve throughout the game as her daughter.

The great Jane Perry is the voice behind Alyssa. Perry has an interesting career in cinema and TV, but her big and more iconic roles are definitely found in the games industry. For example, he brought Returnal’s Selene to life, which earned her a BAFTA for Best Performer in a Leading Role in 2021. She has also been a big part of the new trilogy of Hitman games, being the voice of Diana Burnwood.

Her list of roles is very long, going from a narrator in Need For Speed: Hot Pursuit in 2010 and passing through the Crysis series, Alien Isolation, Soma, and more.

Emily

Played By Emma Rose Creaner

A super close shot of Emily facing the camera in Resident Evil Requiem.

Emily is a brand new character in the series, and she’s a kid trapped in a restrictive section of the first big location that you explore in Requiem. She is blind and seems to have something special about her, having been in examinations for a long time. Grace will meet her and ask for her help with a specific puzzle.

The young Emma Rose Creaner embodies the role, and unsurprisingly, she is taking her steps into the voice actor world. However, her debut was in 2025, voicing Marla Lee in Vampire: The Masquerade – Bloodlines 2. She also had a minor role in the TV series Hope Street as Grace Blare in 2024. We look forward to seeing her in many more things in the future!

Chloe

Played By Phie Sanderson

We don’t get to see this character for much (and for an unfortunate reason), but Chloe is the other kid who was next to Emily in the restricted area of the Care Center. She is voiced by Phie Sanderson, a very young actor who has been acting on TV since an even younger age, with shows like Gigglebiz (2015) and The Outcast (2015). This is her first role in video games.

Sanderson also voices the kids in the orphanage section in Requiem.

Sherry Birkin

Played By Eden Riegel

Is that the same Sherry Birkin from Resident Evil 2 and 6? Yes, she is! The daughter of Annette and William Birkin makes a comeback as a support character, guiding Leo and giving him relevant information about his findings.

Eden Riegel, Sherry’s voice actor from RE6, is back, and she dives deeper into this character’s personality. Riegel hasn’t been out of action all these years, though, as she has an infinite resume: May in Guilty Gear, Marie in Persona 4, Devola and Popola in Nier Automata, Hifumi Togo in Persona 5, the Handler in Monster Hunter World, Coco Bandicoot in the latest Crash games, and many, many more.

Zeno

Played By Craig Burnatowski

We won’t spoil this too much, but Resident Evil Requiem has another villain, and he’s Zeno. You’ll meet this character, who looks kind of familiar to another iconic face in the franchise, when you reach the final area of the game.

Craig Burnatowski is the man responsible for bringing life to Zeno, who has voiced no other than Albert Wesker in Resident Evil 4 Remake. Apart from that, he has been in other games, such as Star Wars Outlaws, Avatar: Frontiers of Pandora, and Watch Dogs 2.

It’s also worth mentioning that the legendary Lord Ozwell E Spencer, the man behind, well, pretty much everything in the Resident Evil series, has a small appearance in the game. He is voiced by James Clyde, the Bloody Baron of The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt.
