How come the video talking about torment 1 switch has a completely different skill tree than the build online?

Started as a minion necro but looking into transitioning to golems. It seems like it can do more content and possibly with less gear than you need on the minion version (shadow mages). Thanks for the work you've put into this video!

is there no build for necro that can play decently without needing a fucking rare ass aspect , WTF , only class that functional in this game is barb , paladin and spiritborn dont need aspects for those

Does anyone know if the golems 1st choice of the damage absorption passive is working or not? It feels like the damage absorption doesn't work at all. I tried searching up anything about it and there's been no one posting any recent updates to that ever since the last known post of someone bringing up the issue of the damage absorption not working as it should.
What stats would focus on for gear?

Can you find out if the ptr bug where wearing a shield won’t scale your golems was fixed? If that’s still bugged then the strongest version of this build (one wear a shield) still won’t be hitting great numbers since shields on the ptr didn’t scale your fel gluttony (3 golems) damage . If they didn’t fix that in the ptr I almost don’t feel like playing this build, wearing a foci into high tower is glass cannon

Gotta admit….I am all set to go thorns paladin for S12 but then I saw this video and I am THIIIIIIIIS close to switching it up. What's got me most interested is the thought of being able to be something other than a paladin for a season. My guess is the fact that you've got the paragons figured out through 109 to get all the legendary bonuses will be what pushes me over the top and gets me to roll necro for S12. I've seen that for the runes you need to have the dlc, does this build suffer a lot without runes? Not gonna pay 40 euros for a couple of runes in equipment tbh.
I was following the same build on icy veins, you think this is better or that one is valuable?
