I think that a pretty good thing to add will be some kind of mobs that can activate multiple off those redstone bricks , and between those bricks there could be some kind of explosvie blocks , like a minefield but also on the roof of the cave. And also if there would be explosive block I would add an option for them to be either just player and mobs damage or also blocks destruction.
