Having those two gameplay styles is clearly just trying to please too many people. Just make a Resident Evil 2 Remake style third-person experience with Leon. Of all the modern Resident Evils – the RE2 Remake style is clearly the most widely regarded enjoyable experience. We want more of that!

I would actually love an open world resident evil title. Just to see how it would be.
Obviously their engine would not work, an example of monster hunter wilds.
But if they could make wilds, they could make an open world style RE. If they could pull it off, that would be incredible.
Not saying I would like the re games to move towards that for all their new titles , but just ONE. idk..they do say, curiosity killed the cat. Lol but I am curious. And been a fan of RE since the og on PS1.
