Yet another Magic: The Gathering Secret Lair release has been announced, but this is one we’ve been expecting for some time; only it’s much bigger than we expected. The Reality Fracture Secret Lair bundle is coming, but it’s bringing with it two additional Secret Lair card bundles.
Fear not, however, as you can still just buy the Reality Fracture Secret Lair bundle by itself, but if you fancy adding two very cool new card bundles to your collection, then you have the option to do so while also bagging your Secret Lair bundle. Rather hilariously, this Chaos Vault drop has been named the Reality Fracture Bundle Bundle.
MTG Chaos Vault Reality Fracture Bundle Bundle Release Date Predictions
The Magic: The Gathering Chaos Vault will open for the Reality Fracture Bundle Bundle “soon,” according to the news post over on MTG Daily. As is often the case, the Chaos Vault drops don’t come with a specific date and time attached and could drop at any time.
Typically, there is some warning, which should give you a chance to get ready for the full drop. The planned release date for the Reality Fracture Secret Lair Bundle (the lone sealed product) is listed as October 23, meaning the Chaos Vault might open on this date, too. Otherwise, you risk players passing on buying just the bundle in hopes of grabbing everything via the Chaos Vault, and with Wizards’ recent record for availability, that’s not a risk worth taking.
Reality Fracture Bundle Bundle Pricing
There are a few options for buying the Reality Fracture Bundle Bundle as is often the case if you’re looking to just buy everything or a specific combination of bundles. If you want to take a closer look at just the Reality Fracture Secret Lair bundle, we’ve already covered the contents and price in a separate guide.
Here are the bundles available during the Reality Fracture Chaos Vault drop:
- All Nonfoil Bundle – $159.98
- All Foil Bundle – $179.98
- Everything Bundle Bundle – $234.99
Strange School Bundle
The first card bundle available in this drop is Strange School, a black-and-white manga-style set of cards set in a school environment. The art on these cards is phenomenal and gives strong Junji Ito vibes, but credit where it’s due: each of the artists deserves recognition for nailing the creepy brief. The cards in this bundle are:
- Attrition (art by Iinuma Yukki)
- Bitter Ordeal (art by Showichi Furumi)
- Ophiomancer (art by Hiro Usuda)
- Sign in Blood (art by Aramaki Miyuki)
- Soul Spike (art by Kohji Matsumoto)
Each of these cards is mono-black, which is fitting for the menacing and frankly scary theme of the artwork. The nonfoil set will cost $29.99, while the foil variant is $39.99.
Duality Distorted
The second bundle in this Reality Fracture Chaos Vault drop is Duality Distorted, a set that focuses on four iconic cards from Magic’s past and invites renowned artists back to the game to produce new versions of the cards with an old-school frame. The cards included in this set are:
- Thoughtseize (art by Di’Terlizzi)
- Desperate Ritual (art by Sandra Everingham)
- Pyroblast (art by Mark Poole)
- Tribute to the World Tree (art by Phil Foglio)
Like the previous bundle, this one also costs $29.99 for the nonfoil version and $39.99 for the foil variant.
