A South Park, Fortnite Crossover Is Coming, Per Leaker

Just when you thought Fortnite could’ve run out of collaborations or crossovers, something leaks, proving that the live-service battle royale meets metaverse is still nowhere close to running out of IPs to feature. After key art for the upcoming crossover with The Simpsons leaked online, the next crossover is reportedly another fan-favorite adult animated series, South Park.

As first shared on social media by Sam Leaks, a reliable Fortnite insider, the crew of Kenny, Stan, Kyle and Cartman and probably Butters, too, will make their Fortnite debut sometime in the near future.

Of course, given how popular South Park is, it’s highly unlikely that the core group of four will be the only characters introduced. Because let’s be real, there’s no way you don’t include Randy in a Fortnite collab.

That said, perhaps the biggest question is just how Cartman, Kyle or whoever will actually work on account of them being roughly 3-feet tall.

There Are A Few Ways That South Park Could Work In Fortnite

Should the South Park collaboration be real, then Epic Games will have some work on their hands when it comes to making sure everything works from a gameplay standpoint, given the character’s heights plus smaller hitboxes.

Already, one gamer thought of a solution, and it’s low-key genius — What if the boys are all standing on top of each other in a trench coat, and you just swap out the character you want most visible at the top?

That’s probably the most logical way to go about things, but how about this — the skins in Fortnite are based off their anime versions. You still get all four characters, but no need to worry about any potential in-game issues.

Go figure that Fortnite has had enough collaborations that the most interesting thing about a potential South Park crossover isn’t that South Park is coming, but rather just how the characters will work.
