The Mole Miners are humans living in Appalachian mining caves who have mutants after having spent their entire lives living underground under constant exposure to radiation. They’re kind of like Vault Dwellers but creepier.

The different Mole Miner types
There seems to be a hierarchy amongst the Mole Miners. Each will react differently, so you’ll need to adjust your playstyle accordingly. You can use the information below to make a strategy.
- Mole Miners: These guys are the foot soldiers and the basic type of miners you’ll encounter. Be careful though, they have a shotgun. Close-range attacks might not be smart for this one.
- Mole Miner Scraper: Much like the basic miner but with added health and damage.
- Mole Miner Digger: A much more beefier version than the Scraper. However, some variants of this type of miner may be weaker.
- Mole Miner Rockbreaker: This miner is harder to hit, but it doesn’t seem to have better damage. Taking these miners should be easier.
- Mole Miner Foreman: Balanced health but the damage is out of the world. Comes packed with two shotguns and a rocket launcher for good measure.
- Mole Miner Supervisor: This type of miner behaves like the Forman but has better health. Your engagements with this type may last a while.
- Glowing Mole Miner: You’ll know you’re up against one because of its green glow. However, it uses a heavy shotgun and missile launchers like the Forman.
- Scorched Mole Miner: This miner has Scorched Plague. If there is any scorchedbeast or scorchedqueen, it helps them. This results in making the fight even harder. So take it out first if you can.
- Mole Miner Juggernaut: Has a light blue cloak and might be the strongest miner. Has very high damage and high health. So prepare to dig in when going up against one.
- Treasure Hunter: Out of all the miner types, the Treasure Hunter drops high-quality loot that you may need. If you’re planning on farming these guys, make sure you head to the Ash Heap region.
