For house colors I'd say it's most likely related to the favorite color of whatever Mii lives in it. I like your idea of exterior decorations relating to their personality category, that makes a lot of sense.
i really wonder how they’ll manage the gender/sexuality thing? because i’m sure if it’s still like on the nintendo 3ds there will be complaints
I saw the mouths being shown off and I noticed something! you can finally make vampire characters! 5:22 second to last row, lowest option, before this, if you wanted to make a vampire mii, you had to use a white moustache for the fangs, but now, you can just select it!
it's great for me, since I've wanted to make vampire characters for years!

Mostly hoping for family trees for non player miis. I have two characters I want to put on my island that are siblings
The facial art is really throwing me off it's way more cartoony than then previous game, but I'll probably get used to it.
What I don't understand about the localization as an American is that the UK words seem more logical to me than the ones they chose for the US one, "Direct" makes more sense than honest to me, "Intense" over "varied" for sure, though I can understand the "Chill" over "Relaxed" hahaha I do think it's cool that they're trying to appeal to the masses, though
I wonder if the Mii Maker will update to match the stuff in TLLTD

i've not seen anyone point out that we have a new starting outfit! instead of the, even if charming, very out of place smooth and bland classic miis get-up, the miis we create now have a gray sweater(more noticeable at 6:01)! it also seems to change colors like the old ones did(not shown here in the video, but in the trailer once the Anne mii gets to her apartment her sweater and shoes are red, much like the wallpaper!) of which the, maybe accidental, matching of the room wallpaper to the sweater makes me wonder if the sweater color is now also determined by the personality type of the mii(something that seems to have returned from the base game given we see the easy-going mii have a yellow room), or maybe this is just a coincidence with the miis favourite color being red. this is ALSO exciting because this might imply some gender nuance at least in the clothing preferences as it doesn't appear to follow the "skirt for girl, pants for boy" norm! just some thinks to hope about :]
I hope you can change their sexuality to make a mii only atract to male/female or be straight smt like that it’d be cool
I will be getting this at launch. I absolutely love tomodachi life 1 and I still play it. It hasn't aged a day in my opinion. I'm a bit disappointed you can only have hair highlights in the colors but maybe hair color spray will return. It just seems like a waste of so many color options to not allow the full list of colors for your main hair but okay.
Did you see the “i give up” as the uk version in the mii maker as the cancel button?

I mean frankly something Id very simply greatly appreciate would be the ability to import miis from miitopia.
Not only do I very much like miitopia's editing, its also fun to sink a lot of time into it to get a mii just right, and re-making the ones you made that go that level of distance woukd kind of be a pain.

My guess is that customization is gonna be similar to miitopias switch version! However I also wish that we get more custom skin colours, which miitopia didn't have </3
I would like it if they gave us a way to use the mii creator codes from Miitopia in this game so I don’t have to remake my characters. The switch (original) doesn’t have a regular camera like the 3ds did, so you can’t take a picture of someone and let the game create the mii.
Since they said "Spring", not early or late Spring 2026. So I assume between 15th of April to 15th of May release window.

Maybe hairspray will be like a permanent unlock to be able to change anybody's hair to a full color instead of just highlights
I hope they take some of the features here and apply them to the next Animal Crossing game. Such as being able to have more villiagers.

Well the hair spay was just temporary so even if we can have all colors.. the item is still useful if you just wanna give someone colored hair for short time

5:35 the lips and the arrow means how big or small you want the lips to be, like in the 3ds game when you could make the lips and nose bigger or smaller

Idk why but no one has noticed that there’s a weird yellow fluid in the structure of the fountain. It’s a strange place to put it there idk it has to mean something
6:15, this clip was different in the UK trailer because the word "bangs" used in US for the front section of hair has been changed to "fringe" in the UK.

I think the reason differently localized trailers get slightly different content is so that we all cycle through the multiple videos and generate more views for them. I don't really mind though, it feels like a treasure hunt.
Small thing, but I kind of wonder if you'll be able to change the skin color of the human hands you have, in the 3ds version, I'm pretty sure the human hands were always white
I hope they still have that baby feature! That was honestly so fun
I definitely want more activities and mini events in the game so there’s more to do. Like if I want my Mii to cook food or sew clothes there should BE a mini game for it
When Mii’s are getting having birthdays or getting married there should be customization for the ceremony
