Players who’ve visited The Blue Gate map might have come across a ruined fortress called Ancient Fort in ARC Raiders. This desolate remnant of humanity stands atop a hill, and you’ll discover a locked cellar door at its base that holds some of the highest-value loot on the map. However, players will need to locate three fuzes scattered around the Ancient Fort to unlock the cellar door. This guide will help you locate all the fuzes and open the door in no time.
How to Complete the Ancient Fort Puzzle in ARC Raiders
Players can find the Ancient Fort at the southmost part of the Blue Gate map in ARC Raiders. The area is medium-value loot, so expect contact with other raiders in this area, alongside a moderate amount of ARC machine activity. After arriving in the area, you’ll find the Ancient Fort’s locked cellar door at the base of the western wall. It’ll have three bulbs on it, similar to the one found at Raider’s Refuge.
To open the cellar door, you’ll need to find three fuzes/power cells scattered around and inside the fort. Players will need to pick up and insert them into the three fuze boxes found in the Ancient Fort. Here’s a breakdown of the fuze box locations.
- Fuze Box 1: Found at the base of the south wall of the Ancient Fort, on the exterior.
- Fuze Box 2: Found just the first set of steps inside the Fort, in the second-floor courtyard.
- Fuze Box 3: Located inside the fort’s main building on the second floor, next to the ladder that is used to reach the top.

There are over 10 locations around the Ancient Fort where the fuze cells can spawn. Players will find wooden pallets in these locations, as the fuel cell will spawn on top of them. Here’s a breakdown of all the Ancient Fort fuze/battery locations in ARC Raiders.

Once you’ve found all three fuze cells, you can insert them into the three fuze boxes to open the Ancient Fort cellar door in ARC Raiders and complete its puzzle. It has a weapon case, and several lootable areas like drawers, cabinets, and metal panels that will grant you high-value loot.
Just make sure to quickly wrap up looting and make your way to the nearest extract to avoid getting jumped on by an enemy player. Just to be on the safer side, you should store the most valuable item inside your Safe Pocket to ensure it auto-extracts in case your raider gets knocked out in ARC Raiders.
